Xperia Play Not Included In ICS List Update

Since its presence was confirmed in February 2011, the PlayStation phone Xperia Play one of the most anticipated gadget and Android lovers gamers. But recently Sony has removed the Xperia Play of the product line that will be updated with the operating system (OS) Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).

Japanese tech giants have announced through a blog posting at Sony, where it identifies, “After testing by our development team and worked with some of our partners, the company concluded not going to make updates to Android OS 4.0 for Xperia PLAY.”

Sony also announced the list of devices that will get a renewal of ICS. ICS devices that receive such updates, Xperia arc, Xperia arc S, Xperia neo and neo V, Xperia mini and mini pro, Xperia pro, Xperia active, Xperia Ray, Sony Ericsson with Live Walkman.

The device has a Qualcomm 1GHz Scorpion processor, then this smartphone has a five megapixel camera which can record 720p video.
