Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 With Android 4.0 Launched in UK

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is launched by Samsung Electronics to continue the success of the first Galaxy Tab. Galaxy Tab 2 a tablet that uses Samsung’s first Android version, Ice Cream Sandwich.

Galaxy Tab 2 is also a 7 inches Android tablet. To surprise you all, this tablet comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the which brings the complete makeover from the Honeycomb operating system. Its powered with 1 Ghz dual core processor with 1 GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is with optional quad band HSPA + for data on the go and Wi-Fi is also there. Additional functions like Bluetooth 3.0, A GPS, Wi-Fi Direct, Android Beam are also added. The tablet is powered with 4000 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has a 3 mega pixel camera and a VGA front facing camera the which can be used as a webcam and for video calls. The screen is made of PLS LCD display and provides a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. With Android 4.0, the tablet is enriched with a variety of new and improved features. Android Market is upgraded to enable access to more than 1 million Android applications.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 is available in a version of Wi-Fi and 3G + Wi-Fi. The tablet also offers three choices of internal memory capacity, the 8GB, 16GB and 32GB, which can be enhanced by using MicroSD up to 32GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 became the first mobile device equipped with Samsung AllShare Play service, which allows users to stream multimedia in tablet from the PC.

There are also applications Samsung Hub, which provides Hub Music, Video Hub, Hub Reader, and Game Hub.

Samsung claimed that Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will be launched first in UK, in early March 2012. Samsung is still keeping the price of this Galaxy Tab 2.
