The Motorola Droid Bionic launched just last week and has taken the smartphone market by storm. With the Samsung Galaxy S2 and iPhone 5 yet to hit the market, the hype behind the Motorola Droid Bionic shows no signs of slowing down.

With that in mind, Motorola is set to launch another variant of the Droid Bionic for US Cellular called the Motorola Electrify. Just like the Motorola Photon 4G, it shares almost identical hardware with the Motorola Droid Bionic. With a price tag of $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate, the Motorola Electrify boasts a 4.3-inch qHD touchscreen, a kickstand, HDMI out, 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, 16GB storage  that can be expanded to 48GB with a 32GB memory card. It comes with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, 1700mAh battery, GPS and Wi-Fi. And just like the Motorola Droid Bionic, it too supports Webtop hence allowing for the Motorola Electrify to work with a laptop dock. The official Motorola Electrify release date will be announced sometime this month.
