LG Optimus 2X get Android 4.0 ICS Update, Recently Landed in Europe

LG Optimus 2X owners can now breathe easily, because the LG has announced Ice Cream Sandwich update for the device. Update it seem slow, but thanks, at least those of you who have already bought the LG Optimus 2X finally had hope of tasting the sweetness of Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

As reported by GSMArena, to update the firmware version is V30a, which allows the Optimus 2X warm replace default OS, Gingerbread to be Ice Cream Sandwich.

Ice Cream Sandwich update for the LG Optimus 2X is quite too late, given the Optimus 2X was launched two years ago. In fact, the prestige as the first dual-core smartphone in the world, Optimus 2X more ready to ‘digest’ Ice Cream Sandwich compared to other devices of its time.

Its quite unfortunate, Ice Cream Sandwich update recently landed in Europe and Korea. And, one would expect this to be the final update of the update of the phone, even more evocative than the Jelly Bean.

Hopefully this delay is a lesson for LG to make treatment better OS related updates on upcoming phones. Especially Optimus Optimus 4X HD G and the successor of the LG Optimus 2X, Google pretty aggressive considering an update to Android.
