LG Lucid for Verizon Review and Specification

LG Lucid for Verizon Wireless targets first-time smartphone users looking for speed. Not only does this  Android phone connect to Verizon’s 4G fast LTE network, it also provides quick access to the camera and other apps right from the lock screen.

The LG Lucid offers a 4-inch screen and 4G in a compact body. This little phone may be small in stature and a bit short on looks, but it’s big on features and even bigger on functionality. Gorilla Glass protects the LG Lucid 4-inch display, ensuring that it can take some abuse. A chrome LG logo sits along the top of the phone, across from the front-facing 0.3 megapixel camera in the right hand corner. A Verizon insignia rests at the bottom next to four capacitive touch buttons (Menu, Home, Back and Search).

The Lucid runs the Android 2.3 operating system (dubbed Gingerbread) will be upgradable to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), which features a clean, refined interface, intuitive navigation, and a notification bar that lets you know when you have new messages, voicemails, invites to games, and more. The LG Lucid comes with 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded to 32GB via the microSD slot, MicroUSB port,3.5mm headphone jack.

The LG Lucid weighs 5.0 ounces and measures 4.69 x 2.45 x 0.45 inches. Its 1700 mAh lithium-ion battery is rated at up to 8.0 hours of talk time, and up to 350 hours (14.5 days) of standby time. It runs on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network, as well as LTE 700/CDMA 1900, 800 EVDO REV A/1xRTT frequencies where 4G LTE is not available.

The Lucid Have a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, autofocus, geotagging, face tracking, 2x digital zoom, Front camera for self portraits and video chats and Full HD 1080p video capture (1920 x 1080 pixels) and includes a video producer to make and edit video.
