HTC Windows Phone 8S Full Specification

At its NYC event today, HTC released two phones running on Microsoft Windows Phone 8. Among them is the HTC Windows Phone 8S. The device runs Microsoft’s forthcoming Windows Phone 8, and features 4G LTE on AT&T and Verizon in the United States.

The HTC Windows Phone 8S is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset and runs on a 1GHz dual-core Krait processor and Adreno 225 GPU. It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The screen is 4-inch capacitive Super LCD of WVGA resolution, which has Gorilla Glass protection.

The 4-inch, WVGA (800 x 480) display dominates the majority of a relatively minimalist front, which also features the Windows, back and search soft keys on the colour bar below and the matching earpiece above.

Round the back of HTC Windows Phone 8S there’s a 5MP camera, with single LED flash and 720p video recording, and HTC has ensured it comes with a f/2.8 aperture and 35mm lens for improved picture quality.
