HTC Evo 4G LTE and HTC One X to be delayed its sales in the United States because Apple wins patent dispute with HTC. For HTC smartphone lovers of the country who wanted to buy the phone have to be patient.
The U.S. Customs Department to temporarily block the two HTC smartphones and perform further review to ensure they do not violate Apple’s patents.
“The availability of HTC Evo 4G LTE and HTC One X delayed because Customs is required to review the products on orders Internationat Trade Commission (ITC),” said HTC.
However, as quoted by Reuters on Thursday (5/17/2012), Taiwanese smartphone maker is sure to have adhered to the decision and cooperate with Customs.
Late last year Apple won most of the patent dispute with HTC in the U.S.. With this victory, HTC Android smartphones is considered to violate Apple’s patents are prohibited from entering the United States.
Despite losing most of the patent dispute with Apple, HTC claims are not affected. At that time, even after the verdict handed down its shares shot. But significantly, HTC watched closely each will sell its products in the United States.
